I have stripped off some streams of general interest. Some of the cuts made here may effect your use of these files- please read carefully if you plan on using these files. I tightened the patrec cuts from standard mod13: YF2DPR=.03 front magnet Y-match YB2DPR=.03 back magnet Y-match PM2DPR=.05 2-d stage front/back momentum PM3DPR=.05 3-d stage front/back momentum VCUTPR=.05 vertex doca Events were passed or failed based only on the first patrec vertex (with one notable exception in the ee stream- see below.) 7 streams: minbias - unprescaled, only required events to pass patrec. input QG tapes Kart name (pass2 output) year --------------------------------------------- QG0622 (274-295) '95 data QG0623 (296-313, 555-558) '95 data QG0624 (559-579) '95 data QG0625 (224-248) '96 QG0626 (249-273) '96 There is about 1 Gigabyte of data on each tape mumu - unprescaled, Mass > 480 MeV, Pt < 30 MeV. PID requirements (on both sides): -> possible TSC -> NOT possible PBG electron -> NOT possible CER elec if P < 6.3GeV -> good MHO muon -> good MRG muon 115 output files ('96 first 50 files, then '95) on kart RG1524 pipi - prescaled by 5, Mass > 470 MeV, Pt < 30 MeV. PID requirements (on both sides): -> possible TSC -> PBG pion (E/p < .5) -> NOT possible CER elec if p < 8.3 -> NOT possible MHO muon -> NOT possible MRG muon 115 output files ('96 first 50 files, then '95) on kart RG1523 ee - no prescale, Mass > 470, Pt < 30 PID requirements (on both sides): -> possible TSC -> possible PBG elec -> possible CER if p < 6.3 GeV. Additionally (for this stream only), the event will be vetoed if there is a vertex (even one that doesn't satisfy the PID requirements above) in the signal box ( 490 < M < 510 and Pt < 10 MeV.) 2 output files (R95.ee.filt, R96.ee.filt) in ~e871/strip on morgan at SLAC. Particle datasets- I used the same event selection criteria as Scott did for the previous datasets, see this website for details: http://hep.utexas.edu/trk871/memos/dsmemo/dsmemo.html electrons: prescaled by 4 IEVTEK(1,5) bit 0 -> left side electron bit 1 -> right side electron 5 datafiles on kart RG1525 (each file corresponds to one of the input minbias karts, i.e., first 3 are '95 data, last 2 are '96) muons: prescaled by 2 IEVTEK(1,5) bit 2 -> left side muon bit 3 -> right side muon 5 datafiles on kart RG1526 (each file corresponds to one of the input minbias karts, i.e., first 3 are '95 data, last 2 are '96) pions: prescaled by 6 IEVTEK(1,5) bit 4 -> left side pion bit 5 -> right side pion 5 datafiles on kart RG1527 (each file corresponds to one of the input minbias karts, i.e., first 3 are '95 data, last 2 are '96) ***************** PASS 2.2 ee-X ***************** strip off ee-gamma and eeee events, they are on tapes RG1528 (files 1-22) and RG1529 (files 1-22) remaining files are in ~e871/strip/eex (ran out of karts) ee mass > 360MeV "good" pbg electron "good" cer electron only if p < 8.3GeV
